With over 15 Years of prior experience in Hospitality and Development, Chris leads the company in Operations Support, Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement and Human Resources since 2018. Chris has held various leadership roles in Development, Operations and Information Technology and prior to joining Midas held positions with Penn National Gaming, Davidson Hotels and Sage Hospitality. His experience throughout every facet of the Hospitality industry brings a unique level of expertise to the construction industry.

Chad Crowe

Principal

Chad is responsible for leading teams in the execution of regional hospitality, multi-family and commercial construction projects while delivering an exceptional experience to clients, business partners and team members. He is an expert in all aspects of pre-bid design support, estimating, value engineering, hard bid, and negotiated contracts. With a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Murray State University and an extensive background of hospitality project management, Chad maintains a strong foundation in construction excellence.

Dan Hyland

Director of Finance

Dan brings more than 20 years of accounting experience in the construction industry. His management experience spans union general and subcontractors. With his strong cost control and budgeting skills, he carries a track record of reducing overhead while maintaining growth. Dan earned a Bachelor of Accounting at Bradley University.

Michael Dean

Project Director

With over 30 years of results-oriented, hands-on construction and management experience, Mike leads field operations. His extensive expertise in large ground-up building set the stage for wise mentoring, quality management, and correct methods through standard operating procedures. His full depth knowledge of St. Louis market construction industry players lends rapport with architects, engineers, government officials, and trade partners. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. He remains a cheerleader for the program and volunteers his time with capstone classes.

Paul Hayhurst

Project Director

Paul found his passion and gifts in construction at Purdue University. He brings more than 10 years of project management experience ranging from light industrial and logistics to senior living and luxury apartments. His growth and leadership have yielded great success in managing project buyout, subcontracting, maintaining budgets and schedules, managing subcontractors, and conducting meetings. Paul’s focus on client satisfaction results in repeat business and trusted partnerships. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Purdue University.

Katy Schmitt

Director of Marketing & Recruitment

Katy brings over 20 years of recruitment and marketing experience to the Midas team. With expertise in marketing, design, social media, and presentation, she partners with business development. Her career spans varying industries including development, construction, healthcare, and education. Katy earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Chuck Seale

Regional Director of Construction

Versatile Development and Construction Professional with 20+ years of experience managing over $1 Billion of projects. Great communication skills and extensive knowledge regarding the requirements of the industry’s process. Efficient in leading a team to meet and exceed the company’s expectations required for multiple projects. Highly motivated and dedicated to the highest level of achievement. Chuck earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management at Indiana State University. He leads the Midas Indianapolis division.

Ryan McCarthy

Director of Preconstruction

With nearly 25 years of experience, Ryan brings extensive expertise to MBG’s preconstruction efforts. Successfully leading a wide variety of projects, specifically with multi-family developments and specialized senior living communities, Ryan’s hands-on background in construction and estimating, combined with his leadership, ensures projects optimized for cost, quality, and functionality. A Southeast Missouri State University graduate with a degree in industrial engineering, his collaborative approach and focus on excellence make him a vital part of MBG’s mission to deliver exceptional spaces for diverse communities.

Jeff Tubb

Director of Field Operations

Jeff brings a proven track record of leadership and hands-on expertise with more than 30 years of extensive construction experience. Jeff’s career began as a ‘tools-on’ carpenter, where he spent 15 years honing his craft and developing a deep understanding of the complexities of ground-up building. His technical expertise and attention to detail have remained a hallmark of his approach, even as his career transitioned into senior leadership roles. Jeff’s leadership style is rooted in a commitment to customer satisfaction, efficient project delivery, and maintaining a high standard of quality throughout every stage of construction. As Director of Field Operations, Jeff’s primary focus is on ensuring that every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standard. He is known for his hands-on approach, effective problem-solving skills, and ability to motivate teams to stay on track and exceed expectations.
